On April 28, 2017, students, faculty, staff and community members gathered for the Roots of Resilience Film Festival. The event featured seven mini-documentaries, each spotlighting people and organizations that are contributing to different aspects of cultivating sustainable community in our region. This event was hosted by participants in the Sustainable Development course Outreach Skills for Sustainability, including students and instructor Laura England (englandle@appstate.edu).
